Industrial Manufacturing Facility

A textile manufacturing client in Tirupur required a 45,000 sq ft PEB facility with integrated administrative offices, a central corridor crane beam, and polycarbonate skylight ridges for natural lighting. The challenge: phased occupancy with production commencing in Phase 1 before Phase 2 construction started.

The Hexcentric Solution

Designed a structurally independent Phase 1 / Phase 2 PEB system with a shared expansion bay. Phase 1 (30,000 sq ft) was handed over in Week 7; Phase 2 (15,000 sq ft + offices) completed in Week 9 without interrupting production.

Warehouse & Logistics Hub

A Coimbatore logistics operator needed a 28m clear-span warehouse shed with 12m internal clearance for automated racking systems. The site was in a coastal wind zone (Vz = 47 m/s) requiring detailed IS 875 Part 3 wind load analysis.

The Hexcentric Solution

Developed a tapered I-section portal frame with moment-resisting knee joints, designed for Vz = 47 m/s. Integrated 6 polycarbonate skylight ridges providing natural illumination equivalent to 240 LUX without artificial lighting during daytime — saving ₹40,000/month in electricity.

Commercial Facility Expansion

A busy retail showroom in Coimbatore required a 4,200 sq ft mezzanine floor above their ground-floor trading area. Key constraint: installation had to proceed during trading hours without closure, with zero disruption to customers below.

The Hexcentric Solution

Pre-fabricated all steel sections at our SIDCO workshop. On-site installation used a night-work programme (6 PM to 6 AM) with noiseless bolted connections. The mezzanine was erected, decked, and handrailed in 4 nights — the client never closed for a single trading day.

Hotel Entrance Canopy — Geometric Space Frame

A hexagonal space-frame canopy spanning 18m × 12m with tensile PTFE fabric infill panels. FEA-designed for wind uplift; delivered 4 days ahead of hotel opening date.
